GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan has announced the latest addition to its popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different products: the "Nendoroid Frieren: Apprentice Era Ver." articulated figure, based on Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. It has a suggested retail price of 6,500 JPY and is scheduled for release in July 2026.
The Japanese manga Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン), written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of the elven mage Frieren, who returns as a hero after a decade-long adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply feel the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The "Nendoroid Frieren: Apprentice Era Ver." articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Frieren's appearance during her apprenticeship with Master Flamme in an adorable Q-version style. Her simple white dress and naturally flowing long hair capture a youthful Frieren. The figure includes "glancing face" and "indifferent face" expression parts, along with accessories such as a "staff," "flower," and "sapling," allowing fans to recreate various charming scenes from the series!
