BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan is set to release the latest product in its "Pokémon PLAMO" plastic model series, the "Fossil Pokémon Series Tyrantrum," on February 14, 2026. Official new information, including product box art design and actual sample images, has been unveiled just before its release.

Tyrantrum is a Fossil Pokémon that first appeared in the main series games, Generation VI's Pokémon X/Y. It evolves from the revived juvenile "Tyrunt" using the Jaw Fossil. Its design is inspired by real-world Tyrannosaurus Rex or Allosaurus. Tyrantrum is a Pokémon that lived approximately 100 million years ago in the Pokémon world, reigning supreme and invincible over the land. Its lower jaw possesses astonishing biting power, capable of easily crushing modern-made steel plates and automobiles.

The "Fossil Pokémon Series Tyrantrum" is produced building upon the design experience of "Dinosaur Plastic Models." Through precise individual parts, it recreates Tyrantrum's entire skeletal form, including its skull, limbs, and spine. These can all be assembled to form a fossilized skeleton, as if on display in a museum. Furthermore, the kit also includes complete outer skin parts, allowing for easy attachment and detachment to recreate its revived appearance. The lower jaw, neck, tail, and limbs all possess a certain degree of articulation.
