Bandai Plamo 'Fossil Pokémon Series Aerodactyl' Set for Release, Precisely Recreating Both Fossil Skeleton and Complete Form!

The 'Pokémon PLAMO' assembly model series, launched by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, is set to release its latest product, "Fossil Pokémon Series Aerodactyl," on February 14, 2026. Ahead of its release, official sources have unveiled new information, including product box art designs and actual sample images.

Aerodactyl is a Fossil Pokémon that first appeared in the main series' first generation games, 'Pokémon Red/Green/Blue/Yellow'. It was revived from genes extracted from amber. Its design is inspired by Dimorphodon, and it is a ferocious Pokémon that lived in the ancient times of the Pokémon world. With its massive wings, it can soar freely through the sky, using its sharp, serrated fangs to attack opponents' throats. It is said to be able to tear even the tough skin of Steel-type Pokémon to shreds.

The "Fossil Pokémon Series Aerodactyl" is produced by leveraging the design expertise from the "Dinosaur Plamo" series. It meticulously recreates Aerodactyl's entire skeletal structure, including its massive skull, wings, and spine, through individual precision parts. These can all be assembled to form a fossil skeleton, as if on display in a museum. Furthermore, the kit also includes complete outer skin parts, allowing for easy attachment and removal to recreate its revived form at any time. The jaw, neck, tail, wings, and legs all feature articulated joints, enabling the recreation of its soaring pose when combined with the included display stand.
