Japan's long-established confectionery company Furuta Confectionery (フルタ製菓) will release a new Pokémon-themed product in its popular Furuta Choco Egg series (チョコエッグ)—the "Furuta Choco Egg Pokémon First Partners" Shokugan. It will have a suggested retail price of 280 JPY and is scheduled for release on March 16, 2026!
Starting with the release of "Pokémon Red/Green" in 1996, players could choose one of three Pokémon with Grass, Fire, or Water attributes, known as "Starter Pokémon" (御三家), as their first partner to begin their adventure. This setting has been a staple throughout the Pokémon game and anime series, with each generation of games featuring Grass, Fire, and Water-type Starter Pokémon from different regions.
This "Furuta Choco Egg Pokémon First Partners" Shokugan will include one Pokémon character figure with each egg. It features Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle from the Kanto region; Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile from the Johto region; Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip from the Hoenn region; Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup from the Sinnoh region; and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott from the Unova region. Additionally, it includes Ash's best partner Pikachu and one secret variant. Each Pokémon's design details are faithfully sculpted in a small size, and they are crafted with unique dynamic poses. Displaying them all together will undoubtedly be super adorable!
