TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product in its "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS" series, which combines metallic-textured paintwork and an alloy frame. This new item, "Exabe's Gyan (Hakuji Spear Equipment)", from the anime 《Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX》, is scheduled for release in July 2026.
The MS-15/H Gyan (Hakuji Spear Equipment) is a mobile suit specialized for close-quarters combat, developed by the Principality of Zeon military. Compared to the design in the main 《Mobile Suit Gundam》 timeline, the GQ version not only features a knight-armor-like mobile suit design reinterpreted by Ikuto Yamashita, but its main weapon has also been changed to the large composite weapon "Hakuji Spear," which also functions as a thruster. This product features the custom machine piloted by Zeon military Second Lieutenant Exabe Oliver. Its exterior is based on an elegant white paint scheme, with magnificent gold lines painted on multiple armor surfaces, giving it the texture of high-grade porcelain.
The "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Exabe's Gyan (Hakuji Spear Equipment)" is produced based on its anime design. Its approximately 15.5 cm tall body features a highly articulated alloy frame, which not only enhances joint rigidity and stability when equipped with heavy weapons, but also has a coating finish on the part surfaces to achieve a substantial feel. The entire machine's armor surface is adorned with matte white, silver-gray, and gold line printing, showcasing high-quality, elegant colors.
Regarding articulation, areas such as the elbows and knees boast excellent poseability, maintaining a complete, human-like silhouette even when bent. The shoulder and waist joints are designed to rotate in multiple directions, and the feet offer superb ground contact, allowing for flexible and natural posing with various weapons and in kneeling stances. Accessories include the "Zickrogar Escape Pod" part, which can be combined with the dedicated right hand to recreate scenes from the show.
For weaponry, the 23 cm long "Hakuji Spear" faithfully recreates the three railgun muzzles in the middle of the spear shaft and the six movable thruster nozzles at the base, and comes with a dedicated stand for display. The "Beam Sabers" stored in both thighs can have their hilts removed and beam effects attached. The equally massive "Gyan Shield" features a deployment mechanism for its six internal mine launchers.
