Chinese model manufacturer HanaBee has obtained official authorization to release a new product based on the popular anime "DARLING in the FRANXX" – the "02 (Zero Two)" 1/6 scale pre-painted complete figure. The suggested retail price is 699 RMB, and it is expected to be released in September 2026!
The TV anime "DARLING in the FRANXX," which first aired in 2018, was co-produced by TRIGGER and A-1 Pictures. The story is set in a distant future of overdevelopment, where humanity, in order to develop the new energy source magma fuel, must pilot humanoid combat mechs called "FranXX" to fight against "Klaxosaurs," semi-mechanical lifeforms attracted during the extraction process. The male protagonist, Hiro, becomes unable to pilot a FranXX after a failure, but a turning point arrives with the appearance of a girl named 02...
This 02 1/6 scale pre-painted complete figure stands approximately 20 cm tall. It adopts the uniform design from the anime's ending theme, capturing 02 in a languid pose, seated on a chair. The intricate sculpting faithfully recreates the folds of her clothing, and details such as the classroom chair and the school bag hanging on its backrest are exquisitely reproduced! Her fair thigh skin is rendered with molded skin tone combined with partial painting to create a translucent, rosy visual effect. Her flowing pink hair and iconic red horns on her head create a striking color contrast with the green lollipop in her hand, all contributing to a beautiful and slightly melancholic atmosphere!
