Japanese model brand Kaiyodo's plastic assembly model series "ARTPLA SCULPTURE WORKS" has announced its latest product based on "Evangelion New Theatrical Edition," the "Unit-13: The Last Executor," with a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY, scheduled for May 2026.
The "ARTPLA SCULPTURE WORKS Unit-13: The Last Executor" features Unit-13 from the anime "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance." The prototype was sculpted by Kaiyodo's chief sculptor, Shinobu Matsumura. The new sculpt perfectly recreates the shocking scene where Unit-13 suppresses the new Unit-02α, which has activated "Backdoor Code: 999." From the cross-shaped armor on its chest unfolding to form a second pair of arms drawing twin guns, its berserk posture biting through the cockpit, to the destroyed remnants of Unit-02 beneath its feet, every detail is faithfully reproduced. The main body is molded in deep purple, while the Spear of Longinus is molded in transparent red, creating a striking contrast. It can be assembled and painted by yourself, allowing you to fully appreciate the stunning design!
