The sci-fi robot-themed transforming and combining toy series "Diaclone", released by Japanese toy manufacturer TAKARA TOMY, has announced its latest product, "DA-123 Warudaros Jaguar Anode Type", slated for release in July 2026.
In its lore, the DA-123 Warudaros Jaguar is one of the combat weapons of the alien invading Waruda Legion. It possesses a nimble quadrupedal mobile form akin to a carnivorous beast, and can also transform into a bipedal standing combat form, a multi-attack form with two separated units, and more. Like most weapons in its faction, this unit is also divided into Cathode and Anode attributes. With both Cathode and Anode units, it can unleash freely transforming, fully synchronized attacks, generate robust optical defense barriers, and other special functions. Furthermore, they can be mixed and combined to significantly enhance performance.
The "DA-123 Warudaros Jaguar Anode Type" is based on a modification of the previously released DA-110. It utilizes precise sculpting and rich metallic paintwork to recreate the cool "JAGUAR MODE" beast form. With flexible articulation in its body, limbs, and tail, it can be posed in realistic beast-like actions such as running, jumping, and pouncing. Its eyes and mouth interior feature light-gathering transparent parts for illumination. The head cockpit can open to accommodate a pilot figure, and areas like the abdomen also feature deployable internal weaponry.
Through its various articulated and transformation mechanisms, the Warudaros Jaguar Anode Type can transform from "JAGUAR MODE" into the 1st upright mobile form "ZAURER MODE," which attacks with sharp claws; the 2nd upright mobile form "DEATH OGRE MODE," which attacks by deploying its super magnetic wave tail weapon; and the multi-attack form "DUAL MODE," where the head and tail separate into two units.
Furthermore, it features a combining mechanism that links with the separately sold "DA-106 Mobile Maneuver Gamma Ghost Type," allowing it to form the ultimate enhanced "JAGUAROID MODE" with a humanoid upper body and a beast-like lower body, achieving a cool centaur-like charging attack stance, wielding two massive spears.
