Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy brand from Japan has announced the third release in its new Mobile Suit Gundam-themed capsule toy series, "Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX," with "Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX 03" slated for release in July 2026.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX" series features non-articulated capsule toys crafted in an SD Gundam scale of approximately 2.5 head-tall proportions. With dynamic poses, various armaments, or effect parts, these figures, standing at roughly 4.5 cm tall, capture the distinctive combat styles and scenes of mobile suits, all while boasting rich color applications.
The latest third wave's lineup will include four popular mobile suits: Ξ Gundam and Gustav Karl 00 Type from Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, Destiny Gundam Spec II, which showcased impressive combat in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, and White Gundam, a key mobile suit from the story of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
1. Ξ Gundam
2. Gustav Karl 00 Type
Despite their charming SD proportions, each mobile suit faithfully recreates iconic action scenes from their respective series with dynamic poses. From Ξ Gundam's flight stance and Gustav Karl 00 Type's firing pose, to Destiny Gundam Spec II charging forward with its Wings of Light deployed and wielding a beam sword, and White Gundam's jumping slash paying homage to the Original Gundam – these figures boast a far greater sense of dynamism compared to typical standing-pose Gundam capsule toys.
3. Destiny Gundam Spec II
4. White Gundam
