Developed jointly by TAKARA TOMY's high-end toy brand "T-SPARK" and Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, the new assembly model series "METAMOR VERSE," which combines robot IPs such as "Zoids" and "Transformers" with bishoujo body kits, has announced its latest product, "MV-01A Zansan Heki & Blade Liger DRESS CODE #SCARLET," slated for release in September 2026.
The "METAMOR VERSE" series is a project developed in collaboration between TAKARA TOMY and Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya. It combines Kotobukiya's highly experienced bishoujo assembly model technology with TAKARA TOMY's own IP multiverse worldview, redesigning characters from "ZOIDS" and "Transformers" into bishoujo mecha girls, released as 1/10 scale articulated assembly model products.
In the background story, Zansan Heki is a casual otaku who loves robot toys like "ZOIDS," dreaming since childhood of creating "toys that people would be passionate about and enjoy." After changing jobs to a toy company, she didn't get into the planning and development department. Feeling down, she met her childhood friend, Takarabe Mamon, who worked in the general affairs department. Through his introduction, she learned about the VR game "METAMOR VERSE." This game not only allows players to immerse their consciousness but also collaborates with various anime and toy IPs to release costume items, allowing players to freely change their character's appearance in the game. Zansan Heki happened to catch the collaboration event with "ZOIDS" and dressed her character in the form of the "Zansan Heki & Blade Liger" product.
"Zansan Heki & Blade Liger DRESS CODE #SCARLET" is a modification of the previously released standard version kit. It largely replaces the molded colors of the parts to reproduce the deep red tones of Zansan Heki's changed character image in the game. Not only are all the blue armor parts replaced with red, but Zansan Heki's body's hair color is also changed to dark brown to match the armament, with purple pupils. Furthermore, the eye patterns on the three pre-painted face parts also feature new designs.
Other parts are the same as the standard version. It features precisely molded multi-color parts to recreate the original character Zansan Heki's articulated body, designed by illustrator Nidy-2D-, and the mini SD scale Blade Liger. Zansan Heki's body boasts a voluptuous and sexy figure, with precise part separation to reproduce the highlighted hair strands and full body armor design. With flexible articulation and 6 pairs of PVC sculpted hands, various adorable poses can be achieved.
The Blade Liger is produced in a cute SD scale, featuring not only intricate mechanical details but also numerous articulated parts for posing. By disassembling the Blade Liger's various parts, it can be combined with Zansan Heki's body to form "Armed Mode," allowing the head, various armor parts, etc., to be equipped on her body, holding two "Blade Swords." By replacing the head part, it can further transform into "Awakened Form."
