Japanese manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure brand POP UP PARADE's large-sized L size series is releasing a new product based on the classic popular light novel adapted anime "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" – the "Haruhi Suzumiya L size" non-scale pre-painted complete figure. The suggested retail price is 8,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2026!
The "Haruhi Suzumiya series" is a light novel series created by Japanese author Nagaru Tanigawa starting in 2003, with illustrations by Noizi Ito and published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko. Each volume of the novel is titled "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: ××", telling the adventure stories of the protagonist Haruhi Suzumiya and the SOS Brigade. Recently, the theatrical film "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" had a limited re-screening in Japan, and there are also rumors of a new anime adaptation. With frequent activities commemorating the anime's 20th anniversary, it is truly exciting!
This POP UP PARADE Haruhi Suzumiya L size stands approximately 22 cm tall. It is crafted based on her iconic appearance in the series, wearing the Prefectural North High School uniform. The figure captures her energetic pose, holding a megaphone-shaped cheering stick and leaping on one foot. The sculpting faithfully reproduces the folds of her uniform, the flowing hair and ribbon, and the "Superintendent" armband on her left arm is also meticulously recreated, perfectly showcasing Haruhi Suzumiya's lively aura!
