Xinghuan Heavy Industries "Evangelion New Theatrical Edition Ultra Scale AAA Wunder Assembly Model Ver." Assemble Your Own Over 1-Meter Long Imposing Battleship!

China's model brand 'Xinghuan Heavy Industries', which specializes in hard-surface sci-fi subjects such as spacecraft and ground vehicles, has announced its latest product from the anime "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time", the "Ultra Scale AAA Wunder Assembly Model Ver.", scheduled for release in October 2026. This product will be simultaneously launched in a standard edition and a deluxe edition with more accessories.

The "AAA Wunder", over 2000 meters in length, is a colossal battleship operated by 'WILLE', the anti-NERV organization led by Misato Katsuragi. Its official name is "Autonomous Assault Ark Wunder". The ship's exterior silhouette resembles the Nazca Lines hummingbird, with its hull integrating giant whale bones and a double-helix design. In the series, WILLE uses the recovered "EVA Unit-01" as the ship's primary power source, granting it abilities such as gravity control and AT Field deployment. It is also equipped with a rich variety of projectiles, including numerous railguns, energy-piercing rounds, curved-trajectory shells, and super electromagnetic direct-impact rounds.

The "Ultra Scale AAA Wunder Assembly Model Ver." is produced using the same parts as the previously announced finished product model Ver., with the difference being that it requires self-assembly. Once completed, the kit boasts an impressive length of approximately 103 cm. The double-helix shaped frame at the center of the battleship is thoroughly reproduced with complex shapes using injection molding. Each component is meticulously designed with separate colors and parts, allowing for a significant recreation of its in-series appearance and colors without the need for painting.

The hull not only features precise detailing that faithfully recreates the original design but also includes dedicated water-slide decals to enhance the expression of various details. Armaments such as the railguns and radar can be freely attached and detached using built-in magnets. Furthermore, the thruster nozzles at the rear of the engines can be fitted with LED lighting units, offering multiple modes such as constant illumination and breathing gradient effects. Accessories include monochrome molded "EVA Unit-08β" and "EVA Unit-02'γ" in the same scale for display, as well as an alloy display stand that supports both desktop and wall-mounted presentations.

The deluxe edition, with its richer array of accessories, further includes pre-painted "EVA Unit-08β" and "EVA Unit-02'γ" models, as well as a metal nameplate, a WILLE logo metal plate specifically for the alloy display stand, and a laser-engraved acrylic cube featuring an internal carving of the AAA Wunder silhouette, all as first-production limited bonuses.
