After the Danish LEGO Group launched the "Mario & Standard Kart" in 2025, they unveiled the second flagship brick-built model for Mario Kart yesterday (the 10th), which was MAR10 Day 2026! Numbered 72050, the "Mario Kart™ – Luigi & Mach 8" makes its debut. It is scheduled for release on April 1, 2026, with a suggested retail price of US$179.99.

This "Luigi & Mach 8" model, assembled from 2234 bricks, stands approximately 25 cm tall and measures 41 cm in length. It fully recreates the iconic character Luigi's distinctive features and charm, as well as the unique body details and striking wheels of the Mach 8 kart. The brick-built Luigi minifigure uses various curved elements to form his rounded face, hair, and green hat with the 'L' emblem. His mustache and large nose are also faithfully reproduced. Articulation is included in the head and hands, allowing Luigi to strike different poses while seated in the kart.

The first-ever large-scale Mach 8 kart allows you to turn the steering wheel to corner, and as the kart moves forward, the flame exhaust pipes will also rotate, which is quite adorable! In addition to manual play, a special display stand allows you to showcase this kart at a dynamic angle! It's definitely a must-have to collect alongside the "Mario & Standard Kart".
