FuRyu's popular prize figure series "Noodle Stopper Figure" (ぬーどるストッパーフィギュア) from Japan is releasing its latest product, the "Shotoku Taishi Noodle Stopper Figure," based on the comedic anime series "Gag Manga Biyori GO." It will be sold as a prize item and is scheduled for release in August 2026.
In Kosuke Masuda's "Gag Manga Biyori," Shotoku Taishi is parodied as a useless, annoying regent who doesn't wear underwear and often neglects state affairs. Now, FuRyu is commercializing him as the "Shotoku Taishi Noodle Stopper Figure"! Standing approximately 15 cm tall, it recreates Shotoku Taishi's classic look from episode five of the anime, "A Ray of Light from the Prince's Brow," where he wears a stylish blue tracksuit. The figure captures his pained expression with both hands on his forehead, as if about to emit a beam of light from his brow. Fans of "Gag Manga Biyori" should definitely bring this Prince home to keep him in check～
