Japan's SEGA game company's SEGA Prize brand announced on its official X account in the "2026 New Product Flash Report" that the Yumemirize series, known for producing high-quality character figures, will release a new product based on the classic anime "Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day"—"Meiko Honma"!
Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (also known as "AnoHana") is an original anime produced by A-1 Pictures in 2011. It tells the story of a group of childhood friends, the "Super Peace Busters," who drifted apart after one of their members, Meiko Honma, nicknamed "Menma," unexpectedly passed away. Five years later, Menma's ghost suddenly appears before the male protagonist, Jinta. The group reunites to help Menma fulfill her wish and resolve their lingering emotional conflicts.
This Yumemirize figure takes inspiration from Menma's grown-up appearance when she reappeared before Jinta, creating an original design of her wearing a yukata. It captures her dynamic pose, sitting sideways, with finely sculpted details showcasing the folds of the yukata and the contours of her limbs. The paintwork faithfully reproduces the patterns on her yukata and the goldfish design on the fan in her hand. The overall piece exudes a strong summer vibe! I really hope Menma can go to a festival with Jinta again ꈨຶꎁꈨຶ
