GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan has announced the latest product from the popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different items: the "Nendoroid Makina" articulated figure from the anime Milky☆Subway. The suggested retail price is 6,800 JPY, with an estimated release in September 2026!
Created by independent animator Yohei Kameyama (YoHey ✩), the original anime Milky☆Subway is set on a distant galactic highway. It tells the story of Chiharu, a genetically modified superhuman, and Makina, a gal cyborg, who are arrested for violating cosmic traffic laws and sent to the interstellar train "Milky☆Subway" for labor service. However, the train unexpectedly starts, plunging them into a chaotic space adventure full of peril!
The "Nendoroid Makina" articulated figure faithfully recreates the gal cyborg's blue-green LED screen face, with gradient paintwork on the hair to express the glowing effect of her face! Her high-performance mechanical body and the patterns on her jacket are reproduced in the 10cm chibi scale. She comes with four interchangeable face plates: "Staring Face," "Flustered Face," "Smiling Face," and "Stop Face." She also includes accessories such as "Mugshot Paper" and "Badge," and can be displayed with the separately sold "Nendoroid Chiharu"!
