SEGA Prize, a division of Japan's SEGA Games, recently announced a new product in their popular Luminasta prize figure series, featuring Hirasawa Yui from the beloved anime "K-ON!", as part of their 2026 new product quick report released on their official X account!
Houbunsha's iconic "K-ON!" (けいおん! K-ON!) is a work by Japanese manga artist kakifly, originally published in a four-panel manga format. In 2009, Kyoto Animation adapted it into a TV anime series. The story begins with the protagonist, Hirasawa Yui, mistakenly joining the Light Music Club, thinking "light music" meant "easy music," and chronicles the relaxed and enjoyable daily lives of the Sakuragaoka High School Light Music Club members.
From the currently released product images, we can see Yui in her Sakuragaoka High School uniform. The sculpting faithfully recreates details such as the folds in her clothing, the flowing ribbons, and her pleated skirt. Her raised hands exude full energy, and the base, crafted with clear colored material, features tea splashing out of the cup, giving the entire figure a strong sense of dynamism! According to the text information, Luminasta will also create themed figures for the other After School Tea Time members, featuring them sitting on coffee cup bases filled with tea. Product images for Azunyan have also been simultaneously revealed, and we're incredibly excited to see all the members lined up!
