In the 2026 new product preview recently released on the official X account by SEGA Prize, a division of Japanese game company SEGA, in addition to 'Yui Hirasawa', another new product from the popular Luminasta prize figure series featuring the popular anime 'K-ON!' was simultaneously unveiled – 'Azusa Nakano'!
Azusa Nakano is a classmate of Yui's younger sister, Ui Hirasawa. She decided to join the Light Music Club after seeing the senior members perform at the club recruitment event. Because she looked so good in the cat-ear headband brought by Sawako-sensei, Yui nicknamed her "Azu-nyan". She is everyone's most cherished junior member, and outside of the show, she has unexpectedly gained widespread fame due to fan-created works featuring absurd storylines...
From the currently released product images, Azu-nyan is depicted wearing her Sakuragaoka High School uniform. The sculpting faithfully reproduces the uniform's details and wrinkles. Her flowing twin-tail hair complements the translucent base, which is designed to look like black tea (it's black tea! Not soy sauce!) splashing out from a cup. This creates a strong sense of dynamism in the overall visual, and the lively atmosphere contrasts adorably with Azu-nyan's embarrassed expression! According to the text information, Luminasta will also create themed figures for the other After School Tea Time members, featuring them sitting on coffee cup bases filled with black tea. We're incredibly excited to see the entire lineup!
