American toy giant Hasbro announced a fantastic new Transformers-themed product early this morning (25th): "Transformers Icons Optimus Prime"! It is scheduled for release on September 1, 2026, with a suggested retail price of US$46.99.
This Optimus Prime, rendered in 3D toy form as a Voyager Class figure, stands approximately 17 cm tall in robot mode. It can fully transform into the cool and classic Autobot logo in 25 conversion steps! In logo form, it boasts a high degree of integrity, fully showcasing the charm of its sleek lines. Paired with the display stand, it looks incredibly cool on a desk or shelf, and can create a thematic feel when displayed with your Transformers collection.
In robot mode, the outline of the Autobot logo can be seen on both shoulders, and there's also a mini Autobot logo on the chest. The product also includes a blaster, making Optimus Prime even more imposing when played with in robot mode.
