Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' action figure brand S.H.Figuarts has unveiled a new product based on the popular anime/manga "Dandadan" – the "Okarun (Transformed) Ver.2" action figure. It has a suggested retail price of 8,250 JPY and is scheduled for release in September 2026!
The male protagonist, Ken Takakura, due to a bet with Momo, ventured alone into a famous haunted tunnel. Unexpectedly, he was cursed by the yokai "Turbo Granny" hidden within the tunnel, who also stole his testicles. After successfully repelling Turbo Granny, he made a deal with her, allowing him to continuously use her abilities. Momo, displeased that Takakura shared a name with her favorite idol and because Takakura liked occult things, always called him "Okarun."
Following the previous "Okarun (Transformed Form)," this Okarun (Transformed) Ver.2 action figure stands approximately 15 cm tall. It is sculpted based on Okarun's struggle in the Terajin family's basement, faithfully recreating the slender yet toned muscle lines of his bare upper body in his transformed state. The intricate details of his rolled-up pants' wrinkles are also exquisitely reproduced! The shirtless design features an additional joint at the waist, significantly enhancing flexibility for bending forward!
The face parts include four interchangeable expressions: angry, gritting teeth, surprised, and glaring. For the mask, both full-face and half-destroyed versions are included. Hand replacement parts include 4 types for the left hand and 5 types for the right hand. Additionally, there's an interchangeable swept-up bangs part, allowing for various dynamic running poses to be recreated with the upgraded articulation. It can also be displayed alongside the simultaneously released "Momo Ayase Ver.2" to recreate their adorable interactions from the series!
