BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, a Japanese company, has officially unveiled a new product under its S.H.Figuarts action figure brand, based on the popular anime and manga series One Piece: the "Monkey D. Luffy -Marineford Summit War- Gear 3 Option Parts Set." It will be priced at 6,050 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2026!
Luffy's Gear 3, "Bone Balloon," first appeared before everyone in episode 304 of the anime during his battle against the formidable CP9 enemy Rob Lucci. By biting his thumb and blowing air into the gaps of his bones, he enlarges parts of his body, achieving destructive power akin to a giant!
This "Monkey D. Luffy -Marineford Summit War- Gear 3 Option Parts Set" is designed to recreate scenes of Luffy using his Gear 3 ability from the Marineford Arc of the anime. It includes a blowing expression face part, a right hand part for recreating the blowing action, a Gum-Gum Elephant Gun right arm part, and a Gum-Gum Giant Axe left leg part. These can be combined with the "Monkey D. Luffy -Marineford Summit War-" figure, releasing in April, and its dedicated stand to powerfully recreate his Gear 3 pose!
