The iconic mecha anime Eureka Seven, co-produced and distributed by Bandai Entertainment and BONES, celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.
Today (March 31), with the support of Sammy Corporation, the official team dropped a special PV featuring "Never Back Down," a brand-new track custom-made by the band FLOW! This release is part of the ongoing 20th-anniversary project, with an anniversary party and pop-up store slated to open on April 3, bringing back all the feels for this classic and distinctive anime.
Eureka Seven, co-produced and distributed by Bandai Entertainment and BONES, first aired in 2005. The story follows 14-year-old Renton Thurston, a "Lifting" enthusiast, whose life changes forever after a fateful encounter with Eureka, a mysterious girl who pilots a giant LFO mecha. As Renton joins the anti-government group Gekkostate, he embarks on a journey of growth, slowly uncovering truths he never knew existed through countless battles.
Its sequel, Eureka Seven: AO, premiered in 2012. Later, a new theatrical trilogy, Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution, was announced, with the first film releasing in 2017 and the trilogy officially concluding in 2021.
This 20th-anniversary PV takes viewers on a nostalgic trip, revisiting the anime's iconic aerial surfing scenes and unique world. It even cleverly weaves in a re-arranged melody of FLOW's original song "DAYS," delivering a fresh yet deeply nostalgic experience.

The official team also announced a physical party set for April 3 at the livehouse "Daikanyama Unit," where multiple DJs will join fans for a night of celebration.
