Bandai's Gashapon division is expanding its popular "Machiboke" (Waiting) figure series with a new collection based on the hit anime, "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders"! The new "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Machiboke 02" set is slated for release in the third week of April 2026, with each capsule toy priced at 500 JPY.
The story of "Stardust Crusaders" picks up 100 years after the fateful battle between Jonathan Joestar and his nemesis, DIO. When DIO is unexpectedly revived after being discovered at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, Joseph Joestar's grandson, Jotaro Kujo, awakens a mysterious power known as a Stand. To save his mother, Holy, whose life is endangered by DIO's re-emergence, Jotaro joins his grandfather, Noriaki Kakyoin, and Muhammad Avdol on an epic journey to Egypt to defeat the immortal villain.
Following the first wave which featured Jotaro and Joseph, the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Machiboke 02" set brings more fan-favorite characters to life in the series' signature chibi-style 'waiting' pose. These figures stand approximately 4.5 cm tall and the lineup includes four characters: Noriaki Kakyoin, Muhammad Avdol, Iggy, and DIO! The contrast between Kakyoin and Avdol's dejected waiting poses and the impatient expressions on DIO and Iggy is absolutely adorable. You can display them alongside the first set to expand your waiting party!
