Kotobukiya ARTFX J "My Hero Academia Shoto Todoroki: Coldflame White Blade Ver." Recreates the Powerful Move from the Fight Against Dabi with Massive Effects!

Kotobukiya, a Japanese toy company renowned for its exquisite three-dimensional ACG character figures under the "ARTFX J" series, is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "My Hero Academia"—the "Shoto Todoroki: Coldflame White Blade Ver." 1/8 scale pre-painted figure. It has a suggested retail price of 35,860 JPY and is scheduled for release in November 2026!

Shoto Todoroki, whose hero name is Shoto, is the son of the No. 2 Hero, Endeavor. He is also the "successful product" born from Endeavor's Quirk marriage, chosen to create the strongest hero. His Quirk is "Half-Cold Half-Hot," inheriting his mother Rei Todoroki's ice abilities on one side and his father's "Hellflame" on the other. He possesses overwhelming power, but in the early stages, due to his disapproval of his father, he only chose to use his mother's ice abilities.

This "Shoto Todoroki: Coldflame White Blade Ver." 1/8 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 24 cm tall. It is sculpted based on the scene from anime episode 146, "Two Fervent Blazes," where Shoto unleashes his "Ice Impact: Coldflame White Blade" move during his battle against Dabi. The figure features a massive ice effect as its base, capturing Shoto's dynamic forward leap. The sculpting faithfully reproduces the damaged hero costume details after the intense battle. The X-shaped flames on his chest, where cold and hot merge, and his iconic red and white hair are rendered using translucent materials. Combined with his resolute gaze and exquisite battle-damage paintwork, the figure perfectly captures his powerful appearance from the series!

Furthermore, pre-ordering on the official website will include an interchangeable open-mouth face part, offering more display options!
