In the 2026 new product announcement released on the official X account of SEGA Prize, a division of Japan's SEGA Games, it was revealed that the popular Luminasta prize figure series will launch a new product featuring the popular anime "K-ON!" – "Ritsu Tainaka"!
Ritsu has a cheerful and lively personality, a bit rough around the edges. She and Mio have been friends since childhood, and they promised to form a band together in junior high. After entering high school, Ritsu persistently dragged Mio along to recruit new members for the Light Music Club. After Yui joined, the two became the club's comedic duo, and Ritsu's usual hobby is scaring the extremely timid Mio.
From the currently released product images, Ritsu is seen wearing the Sakuragaoka High School uniform, with her blazer unbuttoned, showcasing her carefree personality. The sculpting meticulously recreates her signature yellow headband and slightly messy short hair. Her bright and radiant smile, combined with a teacup-shaped base made of clear colored material featuring a splashing tea effect, perfectly captures her energetic vibe. Displaying her alongside the previously announced Yui and Azusa, as well as the simultaneously revealed Mio and Tsumugi, will create an incredibly eye-catching display!
