Just after bringing us the formidable "Hellbat Armor," Japanese toy manufacturer Kaiyodo, under its highly articulated figure series "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI" (アメコミヤマグチ), recently announced its next Batman-themed new product: the "Batman Beyond Classic Ver."! It is scheduled for release in February 2027, with a suggested retail price of 9,000 JPY.
Following the release of the highly technological, mech-suit-clad "Batman Beyond" in July 2025, Kaiyodo has now created this version based on the early cartoon style (カートゥーン調) of the DC Comics series Batman Beyond. This is sure to evoke strong nostalgia for fans of the 1999 Batman Beyond animated series! Standing approximately 17 cm tall, this figure faithfully recreates the next-generation Batsuit, meticulously sculpting the highly three-dimensional muscle contours. The classic head, the red bat symbol on the chest, the silver utility belt, and more are all accurately reproduced.
This Batman Beyond not only boasts incredible articulation and allows for the free attachment of sharp bat wings, but also utilizes the included thruster jet effects and stand to display dynamic flying poses! Furthermore, it comes with an unmasked head sculpt of Terry McGinnis and two Batarangs.
