Danish toy company LEGO will release a highly collectible new product for football fans under its "LEGO Editions" series on June 1, 2026: the 43018 "Lionel Messi – Celebration"! The suggested retail price is US$199.99.
Comprising 1427 pieces, this LEGO wall art, resembling a player's poster, measures approximately 38 cm in height, 47 cm in length, and 5 cm in depth when assembled. It's particularly noteworthy that the designer of this product is Taiwanese LEGO fan "ZiO Creation"! He has meticulously recreated Messi's classic back pose with both hands pointing to the sky after scoring a goal, his iconic striped "10" jersey, and a major highlight: the tattoo on his right arm, rendered using grey parts such as wheels, sausages, whips, and repair tools. Furthermore, the selection of parts on the jersey to depict wrinkles and shadow visual effects is truly brilliant!
Beyond Messi himself, the vibrant blue sky and football field background are also quite intriguing. The overall scene presents a perspective-style setting with a strong sense of visual extension. Greebling, or detail filling, has been employed to enhance the layering and add to the fun of part usage. Moreover, according to the official LEGO website, this set will also feature an Easter egg paying tribute to Messi's life and football career! We're incredibly excited!
