The gashapon toy brand "CAPSULE-DOU", launched in collaboration between Hong Kong toy brand threezero and Japanese company HMA, has officially announced that the first wave of products for its original series "Armored Frontline", themed around military-style sci-fi robots, is scheduled for release in July 2026.
The "Armored Frontline" series consists of snap-fit assembly robot model gashapon toys. The mecha designs adopt a near-future sci-fi military style, featuring heavy armor prioritizing practicality and a wealth of weapon accessories inspired by modern military armaments. The ABS parts boast intricate detail, and once assembled, the models stand approximately 6 cm tall. They feature articulated joints and multiple weapon expansion points. Not only can you freely choose and swap out desired weapons, but the arms, bodies, and lower halves of different mechs can also be interchanged thanks to the series' common structural design.
The mecha introduced in the first wave is the "VI-20 Paracrax", which, in its lore, is a unit operated by the New American Union (NAU) in the year 2122. The product lineup includes four single-molded color variations of the VI-20 Paracrax: Urban Combat, Desert Combat, Jungle Combat, and Snow Combat, along with one weapon accessory set, making a total of 5 types to collect.
