Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand BANPRESTO, known for its "Grandista" series which combines impressive size and excellent detail, will release a new figure of "Yotanwa" from the historical manga "Kingdom" in September 2026! Come and witness the grandeur of the Mountain King, the "Death King"!
In "Kingdom," created by Japanese manga artist Yasuhisa Hara, Yotanwa is the ruler of the mountain tribes, also known as the "Death King." Beneath her intensely intimidating and terrifying mask lies unparalleled beauty. Her individual combat prowess, army command, tactical and situational analysis skills, and intellect are all top-tier. After hearing the ideals of King Ying Zheng of Qin, Yotanwa became an ally of Zheng's "Great King Faction" early in the story. Later, at the critical moment during the "Battle of Sai" at the end of the Coalition Army's invasion of Qin, she appeared to rescue the Qin army, becoming a crucial factor in forcing the Coalition Army's retreat. Yotanwa was also bestowed the title of "Da Shang Zao" (Grand Master) and later led expeditions as a Qin general to attack Zhao!
According to the officially released images, the "Grandista Yotanwa" stands at an impressive 25 cm tall. It faithfully recreates her iconic golden hair, dark red armor adorned with gold stripes, and blue cape, all based on the anime's design. The overall pose depicts her holding two swords and stepping forward, truly embodying beauty, strength, and an overwhelming presence – befitting of the Death King! From her sharp gaze, the blade-like ornaments on her cape at the shoulders, the asymmetrical arm guards on both hands, to the leg protectors, every detail is meticulously reproduced. However, if the armor's paint application could be heavier and exhibit a metallic sheen, it would undoubtedly be even more perfect~
