Japan's official Pokémon merchandise specialty store, "Pokémon Center," has announced the official release of its latest model toys, "Singing Pokémon Figure Jigglypuff" and "Singing Pokémon Figure Meloetta," starting today at all Pokémon Center stores.
The two protagonists featured in this product release, Jigglypuff and Meloetta, are both Pokémon renowned for their singing. The plump Jigglypuff possesses a vocal range of over 12 octaves; once its eyes are met, it will begin to sing a wonderfully melodious song, which, upon hearing, induces an irresistible drowsiness. Meloetta, on the other hand, is a Mythical Pokémon whose design incorporates musical notes, possessing both an Aria Forme and a Pirouette Forme. Its voice can manipulate listeners' emotions through a special vocalization method, and it is said that many famous songs in the Unova region drew inspiration from Meloetta.
The "Singing Pokémon Figures Jigglypuff / Meloetta" are crafted at approximately 13 cm tall. On a luxurious gold and silver base, Jigglypuff and Meloetta are exquisitely sculpted in their singing poses, surrounded by magnificent musical note effects, giving the overall design a dynamic feel. After inserting batteries into the base, pressing the button, which resembles a move selection button from the games, will allow you to hear their songs! Jigglypuff plays the hypnotic "Sing," while Meloetta plays the melody of its signature move, "Relic Song."
