Japanese figure maker GOOD SMILE COMPANY has unveiled the latest addition to its popular chibi-style posable figure line, the Nendoroid series: the "Godzilla (2023)" from the blockbuster film "Godzilla Minus One". This figure is slated for a November 2026 release.

The Godzilla (2023) featured in "Godzilla Minus One" was originally a 15-meter-tall, dinosaur-like ancient creature dwelling in the deep seas around Odo Island, known to the locals as "Gojira". However, following the post-WWII nuclear tests conducted by the US military near Bikini Atoll in 1946, this creature mutated into the 50-meter-tall Godzilla. It possesses incredible regenerative abilities, allowing it to instantly recover from naval bombardment, and can unleash a devastating, nuclear-level Atomic Breath from its mouth.

The "Nendoroid Godzilla (2023)" stands approximately 10cm tall in a super-deformed style. It faithfully retains key features like its rough, biologically realistic skin texture, massive coral-like dorsal fins, and the scar on its left cheek, all while incorporating the cute, oversized eyes and proportions of the Nendoroid line. Unlike typical Nendoroids that use interchangeable face plates, this Godzilla features articulated eyeballs and a movable lower jaw for a wider range of expressions. Its limbs and tail are also posable, allowing for adorable sitting poses. Accessories include an "Atomic Breath effect part" and "interchangeable dorsal fin parts" to recreate the iconic scene where its fins glow blue as it prepares to fire.

Additionally, customers who order this item from the Good Smile Company Online Shop will receive an exclusive bonus: a "Clock Tower (1947) background sheet" to recreate the scene of Godzilla's attack on Ginza.
