BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has dropped an exciting new product announcement for their S.H.Figuarts "One Piece" line on their official Instagram account!
The S.H.Figuarts "One Piece" series has been progressing through various arcs simultaneously, including figures from the Wano Country Arc, East Blue Arc, and Egghead Island Arc, showcasing characters in their New World designs. With over 20 different articulated figures already released, the series has garnered widespread acclaim from collectors! This latest announcement teases the next addition to the Straw Hat Pirates line, which follows the crew members' joining order starting from the East Blue. So far, the lineup includes six members up to the Drum Island Arc: "Monkey D. Luffy -Adventure of Dawn-," "Nami -Adventure of Dawn-," "Roronoa Zoro -Adventure of Dawn-," "Usopp -Adventure of Dawn-," "Sanji -Adventure of Dawn-," and "Tony Tony Chopper -Drum Island-"!
When a new release for this series was first teased on May 22nd, many speculated it would be Nico Robin, though some netizens also considered Vivi, given her relatively earlier appearance on the Going Merry. However, the preview released today (June 5th) features an interchangeable Luffy shouting head sculpt that clearly references the iconic scene from Chapter 398, "Declaration of War," where he yells, "Say 'I want to live!'". This essentially confirmed that the next character to join the lineup would be Robin! Given that previous figures in the series have depicted characters in their initial arc appearances, and following the naming convention of earlier crew members, the product name was expected to be "Nico Robin -Alabasta-," possibly featuring her classic purple hat look from after the arc. We were eagerly awaiting the official details!
June 12, 2026 Update:
Today's post officially confirms that the next figure is indeed Robin! However, my previous speculation was off; this release will directly feature Robin in her true Straw Hat Pirate joining arc: Enies Lobby. The official product name is "Nico Robin -Enies Lobby-"! The Enies Lobby Arc was also a pivotal period for significant power-ups among the Straw Hats, with iconic moments like Sniper King, Gear Second Luffy, Nami's Clima-Tact, Sanji's Diable Jambe, and Zoro's Nine-Sword Style. Franky, the next crew member, also played a major role in Enies Lobby, hinting that we might see more themed releases centered around this epic arc!
