Kotobukiya, the renowned Japanese toy company, has unveiled the colored prototype for their upcoming "My Hero Academia" themed release, the "Katsuki Bakugo FINAL SEASON Ver.," from their popular ARTFX J 1/8 scale figure series. The reveal was made on their official X account, and the figure will be on special limited-time display starting today (June 5) on the second floor of Kotobukiya Akihabara Store.
In the second and third episodes of "My Hero Academia" anime's final season, as All Might faced imminent death at the hands of All For One, a critically injured Bakugo was revived by Edgeshot's emergency treatment. He then swiftly teamed up with Deku to rescue All Might, defying Sir Nighteye's prophecy regarding All Might's fate.
The newly revealed colored prototype for the "Katsuki Bakugo FINAL SEASON Ver." perfectly captures Bakugo's awakened form. It depicts him in a dynamic aerial pose, unleashing his powerful Explosions. The sculpt meticulously reproduces the battle-damaged details of his Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight hero costume and the intricate wound on his chest from Edgeshot's treatment. Behind him, translucent effect parts, expertly painted to evoke scorching smoke and flames, swirl around. Coupled with his confident smirk, the figure powerfully conveys his immense presence during the final battle! Further product details are expected to be announced soon, and collectors are eagerly anticipating them!
