Just ahead of this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), Bandai Spirits' Tamashii Nations division held a global "TAMASHII NEWS NETWORK" livestream, dropping a bombshell of new product announcements. The broadcast, which took place this morning Japan time, unveiled several highly anticipated S.H.Figuarts releases for some of the biggest anime and manga franchises!
After a quick rundown of SDCC event info, the stream kicked off with a major reveal for "Jujutsu Kaisen" fans: S.H.Figuarts Choso! The official images showcase a stunningly accurate figure, capturing his signature look from the Shibuya Incident through the Culling Game arcs. He comes loaded with accessories, including a blood blade, blood-soaked fists, and most importantly, a massive 20cm Piercing Blood effect part. This figure is designed to be displayed with the previously announced "Yuji Itadori -120% of Potential-" to recreate their iconic battle! Full details are set to be released on August 3rd, with a planned release in January 2027. Additionally, a special "Jujutsu Kaisen" surprise is planned for the SDCC show floor, so stay tuned!
The presentation then touched on other recent Marvel reveals, including "Psylocke (GAMERVERSE)" and figures from this month's movie release, "Spider-Man: Reborn," featuring "Spider-Man" and "Hulk". Following that, the hosts announced a new addition to the S.H.Figuarts Mini series from the world of "Elden Ring": Starscourge Radahn! A new S.H.Figuarts for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" was also teased, with the silhouette clearly pointing to the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui. Official info on Tengen is expected later this month!
Next up was a huge reveal for "Berserk" collectors. The "Guts (Berserker Armor) -Heat of Passion-
The stream continued with a follow-up on a "My Hero Academia" teaser previously posted on the official Instagram account, which is now confirmed to be Dark Deku! Mr. Akiba, the planner for the MHA series, stated that the prototype will be officially unveiled and displayed for the first time at SDCC. Immediately after, a new "Hunter x Hunter" figure was teased, with the silhouette unmistakably belonging to the leader of the Phantom Troupe, Chrollo Lucilfer. The hype is real!
After a brief mention of the recently revealed "S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2026)" and the "CHANGEARTS Dragon Ball" line, the livestream reached its grand finale: the full product reveal for the "One Piece" S.H.Figuarts "Red-Haired" Shanks -Paramount War-! Fans knew from last month's teaser that the man who can end a war with his sheer presence was on his way, and now we finally have a look at the figure itself! The sculpt meticulously captures his more muscular physique compared to his East Blue days, and it includes a fabric cloak to perfectly convey the powerful aura that brought the Battle of Marineford to a halt. Furthermore, he can be displayed alongside other Paramount War figures like "Boa Hancock," "Crocodile," and "Marco" to expand the epic battlefield on your shelf!
