Good Smile Company (GSC) has announced the upcoming release of the "NEO Avant-garde-kun" assembly model kit, based on the popular mobile game "Blue Archive," slated for December 2026!
The NEO Avant-garde-kun is a colossal mech created by Millennium Science School's student council president, Rio Tsukatsuki, and subsequently super-sized through Kei's power. It famously made its debut in the main story's "Ex. Divine Sanctuary" arc, piloted by Game Development Department head Yuzu Hanaoka, where it played a pivotal role in defeating the prophet Da'at. True to its lineage, the mech inherits the Avant-garde-kun series' indescribably tragic aesthetic. Rio Tsukatsuki, the mastermind behind it all, simply remarked with an enraptured sigh, "How avant-garde~."
The "NEO Avant-garde-kun Assembly Model Kit" stands at an impressive 20 cm tall in robot mode. Its scale is designed to perfectly match the already available for pre-order "MODEROID Da'at", allowing fans to recreate their epic in-game battles! The entire body features a primary color scheme of deep blue and white, equipped with numerous articulated joints for dynamic posing. It can also transform into an original spaceship mode, which can be displayed mid-flight using its dedicated stand. The chest hatch mechanism allows for faithful recreation of its opening and closing function, and an unpainted Yuzu Hanaoka pilot figure is also included! Furthermore, the unit can deploy its internal structures to replicate its burst mode after the control panel is swapped!
