Japan's renowned bishoujo figure manufacturer, ALTER (アルター), has announced its latest product from Toei Animation's girl band anime "GIRLS BAND CRY": a 1/7 scale pre-painted figure of Kawaragi Momoka, slated for release in July 2027.
Kawaragi Momoka is a main character in "GIRLS BAND CRY," serving as the guitarist and composer for the band TOGENASHI TOGEARI (有次無刺). She was previously a member of Diamond Dust (鑽石星塵), the band protagonist Iseri Nina (井芹仁菜) admired. Later, she formed TOGENASHI TOGEARI with Nina and others. Normally mature and composed, with exceptional guitar skills and songwriting talent, she becomes a handful after a few drinks. Due to her past experiences, Momoka initially held a realistic, negative, and passive view of Nina's ambition to become a professional musician. However, through their continuous clashes and evolving understanding, the two eventually resolved their differences, finding mutual salvation.
The "Kawaragi Momoka 1/7 Scale Pre-Painted Figure" stands approximately 24 cm tall. Its dynamic pose is based on the cover illustration for the "GIRLS BAND CRY" Blu-ray & DVD Vol. 2
