Hong Kong toy brand POSE+ has officially announced the latest addition to its METAL HEAT die-cast action figure series: "Shin Getter-1 Getter Robo Armageddon Ver. DX," based on the classic robot anime "Getter Robo Armageddon"!
This figure will be available for limited pre-order during ACGHK 2026. The suggested retail price in Hong Kong is HK$1,980, with an estimated shipping date of December 2026. A powerful "GETTER TOMAHAWK BURST GREEN Ver." will be offered as an exclusive ACG pre-order bonus.
"Getter Robo Armageddon" stands as a highly iconic OVA in the "Getter Robo" series, celebrated for its apocalyptic worldview, wild animation, and intense robot battles. This DX version of Shin Getter-1 is themed around the anime's final battle, faithfully recreating the classic scene where Ryoma Nagare and his team pilot the heavily damaged Getter, activate its Getter Reactor, and charge into the dimensional rift.
The "METAL HEAT Shin Getter-1 Getter Robo Armageddon Ver. DX" captures Shin Getter-1's imposing red and white body, sharp head sculpt, and the massive Getter Wing that extends backward like a devil's wings. The DX set also includes multiple battle-damaged replacement parts for the face, shoulder armor, chest armor, left and right chest plates, and hands. These allow collectors to transform the pristine figure into its heavily damaged state from the final battle. Paired with the exclusive final battle display base, it powerfully recreates Shin Getter-1's indomitable spirit, charging towards the ultimate battlefield even when covered in wounds.
The Getter Wing on this figure incorporates a new "FLEX FRAME STRUCTURE DESIGN," featuring a movable internal frame covered in nylon fabric, with the wingtips made from soft PET material. Inside, multi-stage ratchet joints allow for precise adjustments to the wings' spread angle and curvature, giving the mechanical silhouette a dynamic, organic wing-like appearance. This design enables the recreation of iconic poses from the series, such as atmospheric re-entry, and various agile maneuvers during combat.
Weapon accessories include the Getter Tomahawk, Getter Scythe, Getter Beam, effect parts for the officially designated "Stoner Sunshine" attack with dedicated hand parts, and two sizes of Getter Liger Blades (wrist blades). Additionally, the set comes with a standard Getter Wing, an articulated Getter Wing, five interchangeable hand parts, a display base and stand, and linking parts that can be used with other figures in the series, such as Shin Getter-3 and Getter Dragon.
