Hong Kong-based toy maker POSE+ has officially unveiled the latest entry in its "METAL HEAT" die-cast action figure line: the Shin Getter 3 from the classic OVA "Getter Robo Armageddon"! This figure will be available for a limited priority pre-order during the ACGHK 2026 convention at the POSE+ booth and on their official website. It carries a Hong Kong reference price of HK$1,880 and is scheduled for release in December 2026. The company is heralding this release as the "first-ever" die-cast action figure of Shin Getter 3's powerful, heavily-armored design.
The "METAL HEAT Shin Getter 3 (Getter Robo Armageddon Ver.)" stands approximately 140mm tall at the head, with a massive total length of over 260mm and a width of about 200mm. It perfectly captures the anime's low-slung yet incredibly intimidating proportions, featuring a broad, heavily armored torso and a colossal lower drive section with caterpillar treads. Continuing a feature from their Shin Getter 2, the head includes an articulated eye mechanism, allowing you to freely adjust its gaze to replicate pilot Benkei Kuruma's fierce and determined expression from the series.
The front support legs are equipped with both extension mechanisms and articulated joints, allowing their ground contact angle to be adjusted for various poses. The articulated treads on both sides feature a "Z-shaped" deployment system, enabling them to extend downwards to support the weight of the upper body. This transforms Shin Getter 3 from its low-profile, tank-like form into a more imposing, raised combat stance. The set also includes two sets of extendable Getter Arms and articulated hands, allowing you to adjust the curvature of the long arms to recreate the dynamic combat scenes where Benkei executes his signature "Daisetsuzan Oroshi" special move, extending his arms to grab and slam his enemies.
Shin Getter 3's iconic full-barrage firepower is brought to life with an extensive array of accessories. The massive drive unit can be loaded with up to 12 homing missiles. The set also includes 4 Getter Missiles, along with multiple missile exhaust trail and launch smoke effect parts. Collectors can combine the various effect parts of different shapes and lengths to recreate the devastating "Missile Storm" attack, creating a dynamic scene that captures the full-screen bombardment of missiles, trails, and explosive smoke seen in the anime!
