Scottish writer-director Armando Iannucci, pictured below, has built his career on politically charged comedy. He created HBO's acclaimed series "Veep" and directed the well-received graphic novel adaptation "The Death of Stalin." Now, seven years after his last feature, Iannucci is lining up his next movie, with distribution rights set to go on sale at the American Film Market beginning Nov. 10.

According to an exclusive report published by Deadline, James McAvoy, Alicia Vikander and Taron Egerton are attached to star. The project remains untitled, with plot details under wraps and no production start date set. It is described only as a conspiracy thriller, though Iannucci's track record suggests the story could once again unfold against a political backdrop.
