Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid line, which has transformed more than a thousand characters into adorable figures, is adding a new release from the hit anime "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run"—Johnny Joestar! Standard and DX editions will be available for 6,930 yen and 8,800 yen, respectively, with both scheduled for release in late August 2027.
"Steel Ball Run" follows Johnny Joestar, a former genius jockey left paralyzed from the waist down after an accident. Shortly before the start of the SBR, a cross-country horse race organized by Steven Steel, Johnny encounters Gyro Zeppeli and his mysterious spinning Steel Balls. After discovering that Gyro’s Spin technique can make his legs respond, Johnny enters the race and sets out on an epic journey across America.
Standing approximately 4 inches tall, the Johnny Joestar Nendoroid recreates his signature outfit in the line’s trademark chibi proportions. Details such as the horseshoe ornament on his forehead and the star and horse patterns on his head covering have all been faithfully reproduced. Accessories include confident, smirking, and battle face plates, an effect part for firing his nail bullets, and his Stand, Tusk ACT1. The DX edition also comes with a figure of Johnny’s beloved horse, Slow Dancer. Display him alongside the Gyro Zeppeli Nendoroid released this September to recreate the duo’s journey across America!
