Japanese toy brand T-ARTS, a subsidiary of TAKARA TOMY, is set to release a new capsule toy series this July based on the "Back to the Future" film franchise, featuring the iconic DeLorean Time Machine!
This capsule toy collection centers around the legendary DeLorean DMC-12 sports car, famously modified into a time machine by Doc Brown. Each model is meticulously crafted in 1/64 scale. The main highlight is the inclusion of all the distinct DeLorean variations seen across the entire "Back to the Future" trilogy. Measuring approximately 6.6 cm in length, these figures faithfully recreate the Time Machine's exterior and intricate rear details.
The first variant is the original Time Machine from the first "Back to the Future" film, complete with its antenna and dynamic flame effect parts. The second and third entries are both from "Back to the Future Part II": one features the iconic Mr. Fusion device (and includes a hoverboard accessory), while the other utilizes a special base to depict the wheels turned for flight mode, capturing its iconic hovering scene. Finally, the fourth model is the heavily modified version from "Back to the Future Part III", showcasing its distinctive front-end alterations and changed wheels. Die-hard "Back to the Future" fans will definitely want to collect the entire set to display them all together!
