Quantum Mechanix, under its Q-Fig toy brand, has announced a new addition to its more detailed "Q-Fig Elite" series: the "Jack, I’m Flying!" PVC diorama figure, inspired by Tim Burton’s stop-motion fantasy film "The Nightmare Before Christmas." This highly anticipated collectible is slated for a Q4 2021 release.
Standing approximately 8 inches (20.3 cm) tall, this dynamic piece captures the Pumpkin King Jack Skellington embracing Sally, who spreads her arms wide in a moment of pure freedom. Jack’s loyal ghost dog, Zero, floats nearby, while the base meticulously recreates a corner of Halloween Town’s iconic cemetery. However, collectors will immediately recognize the brilliant homage to the cinematic classic "Titanic," cleverly leveraging the shared name "Jack" between both film’s male protagonists. The diorama perfectly mirrors the romantic scene where the female lead enjoys the wind and calls out to Jack. Whether facing the vast blue ocean or overlooking a blanket of white snow, both moments undoubtedly convey immense happiness!
