Following up on the popular Evangelion Unit-01, Unit-02, and Unit-00 (Modified) and Evangelion Unit-01 Awakened Version, Japanese high-quality statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio is once again diving into the world of "Evangelion New Theatrical Edition" with their adorable plush-style Q-figure series, "Cutie1"! They're launching the "Evangelion New Theatrical Edition Complete Set," featuring four iconic EVA units making a charming debut all at once. This set is priced at 20,240 JPY and is slated for release from December 2022 to February 2023.
The "Cutie1" series is renowned for its cute and collectible approach, reimagining various IPs with a plush toy aesthetic, transforming seemingly soft characters into PVC collectibles. This "Cutie1 Evangelion New Theatrical Edition Complete Set" includes: Evangelion Unit-01 (New Theatrical Edition), Evangelion New Unit-02α, Evangelion Modified Unit-08γ, and Evangelion Unit-13.
Each figure stands approximately 13 cm tall, featuring a charming plush design in a deformed Q-style. The attention to detail is impressive and playful, from the leather-like textured surfaces to the button eyes, visible stitching, and zipper mouths, making them look incredibly realistic, as if they were actual plush toys. This release also boasts deluxe specifications, including the iconic Spear of Longinus and Spear of Cassius. Each figure also comes with a magnetic display base, perfect for showcasing these adorable, yet formidable, combat machines side-by-side!
