To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the highly popular "Kamen Rider OOO" series held a special announcement event tonight, revealing that its 10th-anniversary finale film, "Kamen Rider OOO 10th: Core Medals of Revival," is slated for release in Spring 2022. Concurrently, a limited edition Blu-ray & DVD set, which includes the transformation item "CSM Tajaniity Spinner & Goda Core Medal Set," was announced for an August 24, 2022 release.
"Kamen Rider OOO 10th: Core Medals of Revival" will continue the story after the TV series, depicting a world plunged into chaos and terror in 2021. The legendary Ancient OOO awakens once more, transcending 800 years of time. As humanity faces extinction, Eiji Hino, who embarked on a journey to find a way to revive Ankh, returns. He joins Shintaro Goto, Akira Date, and Hina Izumi as part of a resistance force to confront the threat. The film will feature multiple Riders, including Ancient OOO, a new form for Birth, a new Rider, Kamen Rider OOO Goda, who transforms using the Goda Core Medals, and the revived Ankh.
The "CSM Tajaniity Spinner," included with the limited edition Blu-ray & DVD, is the weapon used by the mysterious "Kamen Rider OOO Tajaniity Combo" in the film. The toy itself is a modified version of the previously released Tajador Combo Spinner, featuring dazzling new colors and intricate details recreated with new parts. The grip has been redesigned for a more adult-friendly fit. Furthermore, by swapping parts, it can be reverted to the original Tajador Combo Spinner. It is compatible with the separately sold "CSM OOO Driver & O-Scanner" and other Core Medals for interactive play!
The three "CSM Goda Core Medals" are modified versions of the previously introduced Arthropod Combo medals: "Centipede," "Bee," and "Ant." However, for reasons yet unknown, "GODA" has been added to their names. The official announcement states that the secrets behind these Core Medals will be unveiled as more plot details are revealed.
