MECHA SMILE, the Japanese brand behind the MODEROID model kit series, recently unveiled its latest release from "Shinkalion Z": the "Shinkalion Z E6 NEX," slated for a June 2022 launch.
This new MODEROID Shinkalion Z E6 NEX represents the combined form achieved through Z-Gattai (Z-Union) of the "Shinkalion Z E6 Komachi" and the "Zyliner E259 Narita Express." While the kit does not feature transformation or separation gimmicks, it faithfully recreates the cool appearance and flexible articulation through precise part separation. The parts are molded in multiple colors, and with the included marking stickers, the in-show look can be largely achieved.
For weaponry, the kit includes the "Varia-Frequency Breaker Cannon" used by E6 Komachi and the "Narita Express Cannon" utilized by the Zyliner E259 Narita Express. These two weapons can combine to form the powerful signature weapon of E6 NEX, the "Narita Express Varia-Frequency Breaker Cannon." With dedicated parts, it can even be mounted on both shoulders to recreate its Burst Mode!
Additionally, certain models in the "MODEROID Shinkalion Z" series feature common joint systems, allowing for original Z-Gattai combinations with the separately sold "MODEROID Shinkalion Z E5 Hayabusa & E5 Yamanote Set"!
