To commemorate the release of the 10th-anniversary film "Kaizoku Sentai Ten Gokaiger," Bandai Candy's SHODO SUPER series, known for its exceptional sculpting, articulation, and paintwork condensed into a compact 10 cm size, has announced the commercialization of its latest entry: "Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger" action figures. A release date has not yet been determined.
As the 35th installment in the Super Sentai series, "Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger" stood apart from its predecessors by integrating the stories of the previous 34 Sentai teams into a single, cohesive universe. The protagonists, a group of space pirates who arrived on Earth in search of treasure, inherited the Sentai name and powers to help protect the planet. The Gokaigers were also the first Sentai to possess the unique ability to freely transform into past warriors, a feature that contributed to its grand narrative scope and well-received interactions with previous Sentai members.
"SHODO SUPER Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger" currently features product images of the initial five warriors: Gokai Red, Gokai Blue, Gokai Green, Gokai Yellow, and Gokai Pink. These figures faithfully recreate their splendid in-show appearances with precise sculpting and paint applications, boasting articulation points throughout their bodies. As is customary for the SHODO SUPER series, a generous array of interchangeable weapon accessories will be included, building considerable anticipation for the full product reveal!
