Good Smile Company, renowned for its popular Nendoroid series boasting over a thousand unique figures, is set to release "Nendoroid Yuuki" from the hit anime "Sword Art Online." This highly anticipated figure will retail for 5,600 JPY and is scheduled for a June 2022 release.
Known as the "Absolute Sword," Yuuki is Konno Yuuki's avatar name within ALO (Alfheim Online) and a pivotal character in the "Mother's Rosario" arc. Her in-game appearance is that of a petite Dark Elf female, recognized as the strongest player in ALO. In reality, Yuuki was a 15-year-old girl who tragically contracted HIV from an emergency blood transfusion at birth. Despite her efforts to maintain excellent academic performance, she faced discrimination and was forced to transfer schools after her carrier status was discovered. Following a relapse, she was hospitalized and became a patient in the Medicuboid experiment, spending the majority of her remaining time immersed in the virtual world.
The "Nendoroid Yuuki" figure stands approximately 10 cm tall, transforming the "Absolute Sword" into an adorable Nendoroid rendition. Her signature purple outfit, distinctive ahoge, and iconic armor are all faithfully and charmingly recreated! The figure comes with three interchangeable face plates: a gentle "standard face" with a smile, a bright "laughing face," and a focused "attacking face" perfect for battle scenes.
