A classic series that brings back childhood memories for many collectors, "Abarenbo Shogun" (暴れん坊将軍) stars actor Ken Matsudaira as Tokugawa Yoshimune, the eighth shogun of the Edo shogunate. The story follows the shogun as he often disguises himself as Tokuda Shinnosuke, the third son of a poor hatamoto, to walk the streets. In this guise, he conducts investigations among the common people, helping those oppressed by evil forces and exposing corrupt officials. At the climax of each episode, he reveals his true identity with the famous line, "Have you forgotten my face?", forcing villains to kneel in awe and delivering satisfying justice!
The new "S.H.Figuarts Abarenbo Shogun" stands approximately 145mm tall and has been personally supervised by Ken Matsudaira himself. The figure meticulously recreates the shogun's dignified appearance using advanced digital coloring technology. He wears a pristine white and gold haori, symbolizing his noble character, paired with hakama featuring intricate gold patterns. Combining with S.H.Figuarts' advanced articulation, the figure achieves a wide range of motion even beneath the loose kimono.
