Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, showcased developing prototypes for two new figures from the popular series "Uma Musume Pretty Derby"—"Tokai Teio" and "Rice Shower"—at their online new product exhibition, "TAMASHII NATION ONLINE 2021," held last weekend. Release dates are yet to be determined.
These latest S.H.Figuarts figures bring to life two highly popular Uma Musume who were prominent in the anime's second season: "Tokai Teio," who repeatedly overcame leg fractures and never gave up on returning to the race track, and "Rice Shower," who was unfairly branded a villain for breaking others' winning streaks but ultimately proved herself against public opinion.
Leveraging S.H.Figuarts' extensive development expertise, the figures faithfully recreate the dynamic hairstyles and vibrant colors of their race outfits. Tokai Teio features her regal red cape, while Rice Shower includes the dagger at her waist, reflecting her "Assassin" moniker. Multiple flexible joints throughout the body allow for a wide range of poses, from intense racing sprints and glamorous stage performances to Tokai Teio's signature "Teio Step."
