Japanese model maker Kaiyodo announced today that their "Revoltech Yamaguchi Hunter Male Swordsman Zinogre Equipment" action figure, originally released in 2013 as part of their "Revoltech" series based on "Monster Hunter," will receive updated joint parts and be re-released in April 2022. This item will be exclusively available through Kaiyodo's direct sales channels.

Sculpted by Ken Matsuura, this figure faithfully recreates the Swordsman's Zinogre armor from the game, meticulously detailing the sharp forms and textures of its carapace, fur, and claws. The menacing helmet design exudes power. It comes with interchangeable accessories including the Long Sword "Usurper's Thunderblade," the Dual Blades "Usurper's Thunderbolts," and multiple pairs of interchangeable hands.

The articulation is supervised by Kaiyodo's veteran sculptor Katsuhisa Yamaguchi. This new version features improved joint parts, now utilizing the advanced GEO Joints seen in the recent "REVO GEO" series. Standing at 145mm tall, the figure boasts an impressive 23 points of articulation, allowing collectors to recreate dynamic battle poses, including the iconic "Demon Dance" from the game!
